To champion the future of the Wirehaired Pointing Griffon by recognizing breeders who exemplify foresight, integrity, and dedication to the breed’s advancement. The AWPGA Futurity celebrates puppies bred with purpose—those whose lineage reflects health, temperament, and conformation aligned with our club’s standards and ethics. Through early nomination, CHIC-qualified parentage, and member stewardship, we spotlight promising young Griffons and the breeders who shape their legacy.

  • Dogs must be born within a specific time window to qualify, even if they’re older than typical puppy classes at the time of competition.

  • Both Dam and Sire must be CHIC qualified.

  • Breeders AND owners must be AWPGA members in good standing.

Age Groups Offered:

6-9 months, 9-12 months, 12-15 months, 15-18 months, 18-24 months

For the 2027 Futurity, litters born between October 2025 - April 2027 would be eligible.
