The Board of Directors of the AWPGA is pleased to announce the formation of the
American Wirehaired Pointing Griffon Foundation

As our Club has grown and evolved, the Board has recognized that it is time to put in place a mechanism by which our members can make tax deductible contributions to the Griff causes we all hold dear. Through the Foundation we will be able to fund our rescue program, health and genetics initiatives, including the database, and educational outreach efforts.

American Wirehaired Pointing Griffon Foundation

OUR MISSION:
The AWPGF is dedicated to the American Wirehaired Pointing Griffon. Through our foundation we fund our Breed Rescue, Health and Genetics initiatives, our Breed Health Database and educational Scholarships.

The American Wirehaired Pointing Griffon Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization to which donations are generally tax deductible. The following, from the Foundation’s articles of incorporation, describes its purposes:

The corporation is organized exclusively for any charitable, religious, educational, and benevolent purposes described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended. The specific purposes of the corporation shall include, without limitation, the following:

to promote the health and well-being of the purebred Wirehaired Pointing Griffon through funding
advancing and communicating the Wirehaired Pointing Griffon health research
ensuring and maintain the health and welfare of the Wirehaired Point Griffon in rescue and rehoming situations
collecting, maintaining and disseminating information about genetic diseases observed in the Wirehaired Pointing Griffon
providing education about the Wirehaired Pointing Griffon. The corporation shall have the power to solicit, accept and receive funds from any and all lawful sources to be used to further its purposes.

The Foundation needs your financial support to do its important work.

Donations may honor or memorialize WPGs and WPG lovers. All donors will be recognized.
Donations to the Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization, are tax deductible.
